What if Every Child Could Thrive?

What if every child woke up excited to learn, play, and grow in a space where they felt safe, supported, and seen? What if every adult around them knew how to nurture that well-being, at school, at home, and in the community?

At Ever Active, these are the types of questions that inspire our passion and drive our work. This Giving Tuesday, we’re inviting you to join us in taking a simple, meaningful step to turn these possibilities into positive outcomes for our community.

Reflecting on a Year of ‘What if’

As we reflect back on our 2024-25 year, and the impact we had in schools and communities, we’ve asked ourselves four big questions:

  • What if every kid had the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of play?
  • What if the kids who need the most support got it?
  • What if every school prioritized well-being?
  • What if every adult in a child’s life knew how to support their well-being?

Through our work across Alberta, the Yukon, Saskatchewan, and beyond, we saw these what-ifs begin to take shape.

We saw students, like Marek, experience leadership opportunities that inspired him and his classmates to make a real difference in their school community by ensuring that all kids felt safe, and like they belonged at school.

We continued to support equity-deserving children and youth (kids that need it most!) through more than ⅓ of our interactions. These interactions helped kids, like Jonah, find their place at school and in their community, even when times were tough.

And we experienced important shifts in school and community environments, on playgrounds, in classrooms, and in busy school drop-off zones, that created space for children and youth to really thrive.

Why it Matters

Each story starts with a single spark, a child who feels safe enough to try something new, a teacher who feels supported, a community that decides play and well-being are worth prioritizing.

The impact of those moments lasts far beyond one day or one program.

When children have access to play and adults who care, they grow up with stronger confidence, resilience, and connection. And when schools and communities make well-being a priority, the benefits ripple outward, shaping healthier, more connected communities for all.

That’s the healthier future we’re building together.

This Giving Tuesday: Follow the Movement

This Giving Tuesday, we’re not just asking for donations, we’re asking for the gift of community. Our goal this year is to grow our circle and to connect with more people who believe in our mission of building spaces where kids can learn, grow and thrive. Because the more people who join our community, the more we can reach kids who need it most.

Here’s how you can help:

Every new follower, every shared story, every conversation and every dollar matters. Together, they help amplify a message of hope and action for kids across Canada.

What If We All Said Yes?

Imagine the difference we could make if every school & community prioritized well-being.
If every child had the opportunity to play and belong.
If every adult had the tools to nurture the next generation’s health and happiness. At Ever Active Schools, that’s what we’re working toward every day.
This Giving Tuesday, we’re asking you to join us to say yes to the “what ifs” that make all the difference.

Follow along. Share the vision. Let’s create healthier futures together.
